Danielle Resnick

Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

We asked Judith Hodge, Independent Consultant on Global Food and Nutrition Security and Co-Editor of Nourishing Millions, to share her reflections on what works in nutrition. In this brief video interview, Judith shares her observations of the critical role that infant and young child feeding (IYCF)—and breastfeeding in particular—plays in child survival and growth in developing countries. World Breastfeeding Week is August 1-7.
