Ruth Meinzen-Dick

Ruth Meinzen-Dick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Natural Resources and Resilience Unit. She has extensive transdisciplinary research experience in using qualitative and quantitative research methods. Her work focuses on two broad (and sometimes interrelated) areas: how institutions affect how people manage natural resources, and the role of gender in development processes.

Mozibar Rahman

Coordinator, Seed Systems and Marketing

Bio

Md. Mozibar Rahman is a Coordinator of Seed Systems and Marketing in the HarvestPlus section of the Innovation Policy and Scaling Unit. He is responsible for coordinating seed multiplication and marketing of biofortified crop seeds and developing the HarvestPlus strategy to boost biofortified seed supply. Mozibar is also responsible for coordinating and managing project activities. Prior to taking on this role in 2020, Mozibar was the Agricultural Research and Development Officer at IFPRI-HarvestPlus. He has also worked at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), Bangladesh, as a Senior Specialist-Agricultural Development, and with RDRS Bangladesh as a field coordinator. He started his career with BRAC, as an agricultural extensionist and as a regional sector specialist.

Mozibar earned an MSc from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, and an EMBA in Marketing from Uttara University, Dhaka.
