Danielle Resnick

Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

Chibuzo Nwagboso is a Research Analyst in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit, based in Abuja, Nigeria. Her work focuses on applied research and policy analysis in agriculture, nutrition, gender, and youth inclusion, using both qualitative and quantitative methods to investigate issues related to the political economy of biotechnology, gender and youth, and food systems. Prior to joining IFPRI, Chibuzo worked as a researcher for Seven Star Consultants Limited, where she specialized in impact evaluations and development studies. She holds a master’s degree in International Business Economics from Coventry University. Chibuzo’s language skills include English and functional French.
