Kinya Kaibung’a

Kinya Kaibung’a is a Research Officer with the Development Strategies and Governance Unit, based in Nairobi, Kenya. She has a keen interest in leveraging machine learning, AI, and other cutting-edge technologies to boost climate resilience and food security in smart agriculture systems.

Bishal Aryal

Senior Program Manager

Bio

Bishal Aryal is a Senior Program Manager with the Agrifood Innovation and Resilience (AIR) Unit, where he is affiliated with the unit’s Responsible AI theme. He also serves as Program Coordinator for the CGIAR Digital Transformation Accelerator (DTA). He supports a portfolio of global research programs advancing artificial intelligence and digital innovation for sustainable agricultural development, with a focus on proposal development, program management, partnership management and stakeholder engagement, financial stewardship, progress monitoring, and donor reporting.

Prior to joining IFPRI, Bishal worked in banking, investment, and consulting in Nepal and the United States. He holds an MBA and an MS in Finance from West Virginia University.
