Lilia Bliznashka

Lily Bliznashka is a Research Fellow in the Nutrition, Diets, and Health Unit. Her research focuses on assessing the effectiveness of multi-input nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions and the mechanisms through which they work to improve maternal and child health and nutrition globally. She has worked in Burkina Faso, Burundi, Tanzania, and Uganda.

The Times of India reported on a recent meeting on malnutrition in India and software that tackles malnutrition. With a long-term view of strengthening a data-focused environment for implementation of programs to realize the vision of a healthier and malnutrition-free India by 2022, Research Fellow, Purnima Menon said the research community must continue to share emerging insights on each of the thematic areas that India’s nutrition mission is focused on and help inform the policy and program with evidence-based choices.
