Timothy Thomas

Timothy Thomas is a Senior Research Fellow in the Foresight and Policy Modeling Unit. His research focuses on the impact of climate change on agricultural productivity. Tim’s work involves developing innovative methods for simulated climate futures and model coordination between climate, crop, water, energy, and economics.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise advances the global food system with launch of Memory-Driven Computing Sandbox

Zawya published an article on the announcement by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) about the launch of Memory-Driven Computing Sandbox which can support the government in its journey to advance food security and agriculture in the country. Available through HPE Digital Life Garage in Dubai, HPE’s Memory-Driven Computing Sandbox will enable developers to drive rapid proofs-of-concept that will demonstrate dramatic performance gains never before possible in the food security and agriculture industry. The Platform is co-led by the Alliance of Bioversity International and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) and IFPRI. Republished in Dubai New Style, Aalmeen.com.
