With research staff from more than 70 countries, and offices across the globe, IFPRI provides research-based policy solutions to sustainably reduce poverty and end hunger and malnutrition in developing countries.

Lilia Bliznashka

Lily Bliznashka is a Research Fellow in the Nutrition, Diets, and Health Unit. Her research focuses on assessing the effectiveness of multi-input nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions and the mechanisms through which they work to improve maternal and child health and nutrition globally. She has worked in Burkina Faso, Burundi, Tanzania, and Uganda.

The 2021 CAER-IFPRI Annual Conference, Building Sustainable and Healthy Food Systems in China is co-organized by China Agricultural Economic Review (CAER), China Agricultural University (CAU) and IFPRI in Beijing, China, on October 28-30.

The conference is a significant gathering of the agricultural economics and rural development community and aims to be a focal point for participants to gain new skills and knowledge. This conference has traditionally combined great academic content with a series of sessions addressing a wide range of interesting topics. The conference will include a round-table forum on understanding how agribusiness development may contribute to a sustainable and healthy food system.
