Kinya Kaibung’a

Kinya Kaibung’a is a Research Officer with the Development Strategies and Governance Unit, based in Nairobi, Kenya. She has a keen interest in leveraging machine learning, AI, and other cutting-edge technologies to boost climate resilience and food security in smart agriculture systems.

Launch of the FSEC Global Policy Report

On January 29, 2024, The Food System Economics Commission (FSEC) will host the launch of the FSEC Global Policy Report.

IFPRI’s Director General, Johan Swinnen, is pleased to participate in this hybrid event. During this launch event, commissioners, co-chairs and expert researchers will share and discuss research findings, policy suggestions and pathways forward – all informed by the FSEC work. Through keynote speeches, presentations, panel discussions and audience interaction, the event will highlight the opportunities for global policymakers and stakeholders to help shift and transform our food systems.
