Danielle Resnick

Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

Biden appoints MSU economist, Liverpool-Tasie, into Board for International Food and Agricultural Development (Nigerian Tribune) 

January 25, 2022


The Tribune (Nigeria) reported that the Board for International Food and Agricultural Development (BIFAD) advises the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on agriculture and higher education issues pertinent to food insecurity. Along with other BIFAD board members, Dr Liverpool-Tasie will play a key role in shaping our nation’s perspectives on international food and agriculture. Before joining MSU, Dr. Liverpool-Tasie was a Post-Doctoral Fellow and researcher at IFPRI.
