Danielle Resnick

Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

A commitment to nutrition: Act now! (Outlook POSHAN)

Outlook POSHAN published an op-ed by Senior Communications Specialist Pratima Mathews. She writes that a diverse group of nutrition stakeholders have joined hands to ensure that COVID-19 does not derail the government’s malnutrition program. A global call for action to protect children’s right to nutrition in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic has come from the UN and others. This call further accentuates the urgency of the specific actions around which the nutrition community in India has garnered support. While standing in solidarity with the global call, the nutrition community in India highlights its unwavering commitment to support the Government of India and the key nutrition stakeholders at all levels around the specific key areas
