IT Business Direct (Africa) reported on findings from the Malabo Montpellier (MaMo) Panel on renewable energy and new technologies in Africa. Director of IFPRI's Africa Region and co-chair of the Panel Ousmane Badiane said, “As demand for food continues to grow globally, universal access to energy will become an urgent necessity, both for the production, processing, and consumption of more nutritious food.”
