Danielle Resnick

Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

Punjab sets up panel to work out debt waiver details (The Times of India)

In an article for The Times of India, chief minister of the Congress election manifesto Amarinder Singh named PK Joshi to an expert group panel to address the amount of agricultural debt and means for a waiver. Along with PK, former chairman of Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP) T Haque leads the group with contributions from B S Dhillon, vice-chancellor of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). The group will submit their final report in a month.
