Danielle Resnick

Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

Bio

José Falck-Zepeda is a Senior Research Fellow in the Innovation Policy and Scaling Unit. His work at IFPRI focuses on the economics and impact assessment of biotechnology, biosafety, and emerging technologies. In addition, José focuses on agricultural R&D policy and technological innovation in developing countries.

Prior to joining IFPRI, he worked as a Research Fellow at the International Service for National Agricultural Research (ISNAR) in the Hague, the Netherlands. He also was a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Auburn University, Alabama, and Assistant Professor and Instructor at the Pan-American Agricultural School (Zamorano University) in Honduras.

A citizen of Honduras, he holds an Agrónomo Degree from the Pan-American Agricultural School (Zamorano University), a BS in Animal Science from Texas A&M University, and an MS and PhD in Agricultural Economics from Auburn University, Alabama.
