Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

Monica Dourado is the Human Resources Director at IFPRI. She has over 15 years of international human resources experience in the nonprofit environment. She has significant experience in talent acquisition, field office HR operations, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, hosting agreements, labor law compliance, and HR management. She has also developed HR policy manuals, worked on gender, diversity, and inclusion, and conducted various trainings. Monica holds an MBA from Salisbury University and serves as a Board Member to the Rose Women’s Foundation.
