Lilia Bliznashka

Lily Bliznashka is a Research Fellow in the Nutrition, Diets, and Health Unit. Her research focuses on assessing the effectiveness of multi-input nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions and the mechanisms through which they work to improve maternal and child health and nutrition globally. She has worked in Burkina Faso, Burundi, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Bio

Talla Fall is a Senior Research Analyst in the Nutrition, Health, and Diets Unit at IFPRI, based in Dakar, Senegal. His research focuses on acute malnutrition and food environments, with responsibilities spanning questionnaire programming, data management, quality assurance, processing, and statistical analysis.

Talla has extensive experience in impact evaluation, applying econometric and causal inference methods to assess nutrition-sensitive interventions. His work is complemented by strong expertise in field implementation, including enumerator training, supervision, and coordination with implementing partners, as well as advanced skills in Survey Solutions, Stata, and the development of data systems and dashboards for evidence-based decision-making. Prior to joining IFPRI, he worked as a Data Analyst at the Institut Sénégalais de Recherche Agricole (ISRA), where he managed research projects from design through to dissemination of results. Talla Fall holds a Statistical Engineer Economist degree  from the National School of Statistics and Economic Analysis (ENSAE) in Dakar and holds a bachelor’s degree in applied economics from the Université Gaston Berger in Saint-Louis, Senegal.
