78th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics

The 78^th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics is going to be held November 1-3 under the auspices of the Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi, International Food Policy Research Institute, Delhi, and Tata-Cornell Institute, Ithaca, USA. 

Three broad subjects will be discussed including: (a) Seven year plan for agriculture- output and biowaste management (b) Post-harvesting requirements for reducing the gap between what consumers pay and farmers receive and (c) Social and community organisations for agricultural development and coping with limited non-renewable resources.

Eminent agricultural economists, policy planners, government officials and civil society groups across India and abroad are expected to participate in the conference.
