Book: Advancing gender equality through agricultural and environmental research: Past, present, and future (Paepard)

November 26, 2021

Paepard published an announcement about the new PIM book Advancing gender equality through agricultural and environmental research: Past, present, and future and CGIAR’s research on gender over the past decade. The book presents a shift away from a typical, instrumentalist outlook focused on how gender analysis can contribute to research objectives, such as improved productivity. Over 55 gender researchers who contributed to this book intentionally flip the question to ask: How do agricultural and environmental research and development contribute to gender equality and women’s empowerment?
