Danielle Resnick

Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

Climate crisis threatens India’s food security, warn scientists (Hindustan Times)

Hindustan Times, in an article on manifestations of climate change in India, quotes the IFPRI 2022 Global Food Policy Report, saying that climate change may “force many Indians into famine by 2030 owing to a reduction in agricultural productivity” and cause “ripple effects across the food supply chain.”
