Eliot Jones-Garcia

Eliot Jones-Garcia is a Senior Research Analyst with the Natural Resources and Resilience Unit based in Washington, DC. His research focuses on human-AI interaction, user-centered design, and the ethical and responsible development of AI. Eliot is currently finalizing a PhD on the digitalization of agricultural advisory services at Wageningen University & Research.

MGNREGS has raised welfare, brought down inequality, says study (LiveMint)

LiveMint published an article about the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme acting as a conditional cash transfer for rural and poor Indian farmers.  IFPRI research from Yanyan Liu was included in the article as findings show that the program has significantly improved the well-being of beneficiaries through better nutrition intake and the accumulation of more household assets.
