Lilia Bliznashka

Lily Bliznashka is a Research Fellow in the Nutrition, Diets, and Health Unit. Her research focuses on assessing the effectiveness of multi-input nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions and the mechanisms through which they work to improve maternal and child health and nutrition globally. She has worked in Burkina Faso, Burundi, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Political economy and the Burmese economy (Voice of America – Myanmar)

Voice of America published an article on the export situation in Myanmar. We need to increase exports more but is that possible? In agriculture, inputs such as fertilizers prices have risen sharply. They are also published by IFPRI. According to research, the increase will significantly reduce the number of fertilizers. If sales fall, so will the output of the post-monsoon season in the agricultural sector.
