Danielle Resnick

Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

The US international emergency food aid program: Time for change? (AEI)

The American Enterprise Institute hosted a live stream webinar that discusses findings from the recent AEI report regarding the consequences of current cargo preference and US sourcing mandates on the scope and effectiveness of US emergency food aid programs. A panel discussion featured Dina Esposito of Mercy Corps, Stephanie Mercier of Agricultural Perspectives, and David Beckmann, a World Food Prize laureate. Senior Research Fellow Joseph Glauber was the facilitator of the event.
