Prapti Barooah is a Senior Research Analyst in the Agrifood Innovation and Resilience Unit, based in New Delhi, India, and a doctoral candidate at the University of Hohenheim. Her research focuses on the intersection of gender, agriculture, and climate resilience, examining how smallholder farmers, particularly women, access, interpret, and use agricultural and climate information. Her work explores pathways toward more inclusive and resilient food systems, with a focus on the roles of extension services, mechanization, and institutional support in advancing climate adaptation while addressing social and gender inequities.
