Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

Sushant Mukherjee is the Director of Finance and Administration. Before joining IFPRI, Sushant led the Financial Analysis and Planning team at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, where he oversaw the financial management of donor-funded projects. During his tenure there, he also published research on the economic impact of HIV service delivery and served as the head of the Foundation’s country office in Rwanda. Previously, he worked at the United Nations World Food Programme in Nepal and the Nelson Mandela Foundation. Sushant holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in International Relations from Yale University.
