Elodie Becquey

Elodie Becquey is a Senior Research Fellow in the Nutrition, Diets, and Health Unit, based in IFPRI’s West and Central Africa office in Senegal. She has over 15 years of research experience in diet, nutrition, and food security in Africa, including countries such as Burkina Faso, Chad, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, and Tanzania.

Launch of IFPRI’s 2025 Global Food Policy Report at Africa Food Systems Forum

The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) are jointly holding the Africa launch of IFPRI’s 2025 Global Food Policy Report (GFPR) at a high-level side event of the African Food Systems Forum (AFSF). The session will spotlight how Africa can advance resilient, inclusive agrifood systems—anchored in the 2025 Kampala Declaration and the new CAADP agenda—with a focus on equitable livelihoods for youth, women, and vulnerable groups.

IFPRI’s 2025 GFPR reviews 50 years of food systems transformation and sets out priorities for the next decade. This launch will showcase African leadership in shaping food systems that deliver inclusion, sustainability, and resilience.
