With research staff from more than 70 countries, and offices across the globe, IFPRI provides research-based policy solutions to sustainably reduce poverty and end hunger and malnutrition in developing countries.

Lilia Bliznashka

Lily Bliznashka is a Research Fellow in the Nutrition, Diets, and Health Unit. Her research focuses on assessing the effectiveness of multi-input nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions and the mechanisms through which they work to improve maternal and child health and nutrition globally. She has worked in Burkina Faso, Burundi, Tanzania, and Uganda.

The Stockholm Food Forum, convened by EAT, is an invitation only event open to individuals and actors from across food systems, including representatives of Science, Policy, Business and Civil Society. The Theme of this year’s forum is “Engage, Act, Transform” asking the food system community to engage with the knowledge carried by the Commission and the Food System Community, identify how we can individually act to help drive to a more healthy, safe and just food systems.

The Commission has articulated as an overarching objective: Healthy food accessible to all—produced, processed, distributed, and consumed fairly within planetary boundaries. While all actors present are committed to this goal, it is clear that there are distinct perspectives on how to achieve this objective.
