Kinya Kaibung’a is a Research Officer with the Development Strategies and Governance Unit, based in Nairobi, Kenya. She has a keen interest in leveraging machine learning, AI, and other cutting-edge technologies to boost climate resilience and food security in smart agriculture systems.

The MAGNET Showcase: Tools and Takeaways for Measuring Agency will present key findings from three years of developing and validating new survey tools for measuring women’s agency, alongside perspectives from funders, users and partners on where the agency data and measurement field is heading. The morning will be organized around three thematic blocks—presenting results on control over assets, goal-setting and decision-making, and sense of agency—and will feature short talks, user testimonials and interactive segments.
