Lilia Bliznashka

Lily Bliznashka is a Research Fellow in the Nutrition, Diets, and Health Unit. Her research focuses on assessing the effectiveness of multi-input nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions and the mechanisms through which they work to improve maternal and child health and nutrition globally. She has worked in Burkina Faso, Burundi, Tanzania, and Uganda.

ReliefWeb published the latest maize market report that shows March’s detailed results including maize decreased by 35 percent and the average retail price was 79 percent higher than the same time last year. The monthly Maize Market was developed by researchers at IFPRI-Malawi with the goal of providing clear and accurate information on the variation of daily maize prices in selected markets throughout Malawi. Republished in South Africa News Shafaqna and Nigeria News Shafaqna
