Danielle Resnick

Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

IFPRI is participating in the World Bank’s 19th annual Land and Poverty Conference in Washington, DC under the theme “Land Governance in an Interconnected World.”

The Land and Poverty conference will present the latest research and practice on the diversity of reforms, interventions, and innovations in the land sector around the world. The conference has become one of the largest international events on land governance, attracting over 1,300 participants in 2017 from governments, academics, civil society, and the private sector.

Researchers from IFPRI’s Development Strategy and Governance Division,  Environment and Production Technology Division, and Poverty, Health, and Nutrition Division gave a number of presentations throughout the Conference.
