Danielle Resnick

Danielle Resnick is a Senior Research Fellow in the Markets, Trade, and Institutions Unit and a Non-Resident Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on the political economy of agricultural policy and food systems, governance, and democratization, drawing on extensive fieldwork and policy engagement across Africa and South Asia.

Delivering for Nutrition in India: Insights from Implementation Research

Organized by Partnerships and Opportunities to Strengthen and Harmonize Actions for Nutrition in India (POSHAN) led by IFPRI

Coinciding with the national nutrition month in India, or Poshan Maah, a group of 19 co-hosts are organizing the third India-focused implementation research conference “Delivering for Nutrition in India: Insights from Implementation Research” from 14-18 September 2020. At this event, participants will review evidence to inform the implementation of current policy and program initiatives. They will also deliberate on ways of tapping into insights from implementation research to help strengthen the maternal and child nutrition initiatives in India. This will be the first ever virtual conference on nutrition implementation research. Previous in-person conferences were held in 2016 and in 2019.
