Agnes Quisumbing

Agnes Quisumbing is a Senior Research Fellow in the Poverty, Gender, and Inclusion Unit. She co-leads a research program that examines how closing the gap between men’s and women’s ownership and control of assets may lead to better development outcomes.

Bio

Isabel Lambrecht is a Research Fellow in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit, based in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, with a research focus and publication record on land tenure and women’s empowerment. She employs both quantitative and qualitative research methods and is experienced in both data collection as well as econometric analysis of survey data. At IFPRI, she has been posted to Ghana, where she conducted research on land tenure and women’s empowerment, and to Myanmar, before moving to Tajikistan. Isabel obtained her PhD in Agricultural Economics from KU Leuven University, Belgium, focusing on gender and integrated soil fertility management in Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.
